BG Norway AS, operator of production license 373 S, is finishing exploration well 34/3-1 S within the North Sea. The well, set north-east of the Snorre field within the northern North Sea, well-tried AN oil accumulation during a reservoir of Jurassic period age.
A comprehensive knowledge acquisition programme has been disbursed. The resource potential can currently be evaluated with a side-track.
The well was trained with the semi-submersible Bredford Dolphin during a water depth of 410 meters to a complete vertical depth of 4057 meter below water level and completed within the period.
